I'm sure it's better and someone will tell you it's soooooo different but I'm in your boat and I'm sticking with what I have. The only thing I would change is to a ps4 controller just because I'm more comfortable with it.

The only big difference is the trigger rumble which is actually a pretty nice feature. In forza it lets you feel the braking etc like you do in a real car.
I have no clue if any games would support this though on PC.

Analogs look like they would grip better. But if that's all there is, I'd probably stick to the old one.
