Yeah, 8 straight playoff appearances. Didn't get out of the first round until the last one.

In his defense, GM Kevin McHale boned him with the Joe Smith deal which got a bunch of 1sts taken away from them.

As a Pistons fan, I always felt Flip was a better coach than he got credit for.

Well, according to a lot of the board, players have gotten so much stronger and more sophisticated so that may actually be a good question.
