Not trying to troll,

Last win in Omaha was in 2009. So, at best it will be 6 years (that's if they can get over the hump next year) between wins in the CWS.

I say next LSU win in Omaha will be in 2017.

Thoughts?

So Bregs would leave LSU having not won a game in Omaha...?

Next year IMO. This team is about who we thought they were.

Minor league ball = Gorilla Ball = LSU returns to dominance. LSU wins it all next year

At least a couple of years. No Nola next year and the same subpar bats equals another disappointing season unfortunately.

Who the hell knows man. The parody in college baseball makes it a hell of a lot more difficult than when skip was here. And its really unfair to measure the teams of today against those of the 90's. That said this year's team I didn't expect much cause of all the hitters we lost. But I think the late season surge and 10 game winning streak really got everyone's hopes up myself included that this team was primed to make a run. Didn't happen but next year's team looks like its gonna be loaded.

I think you need to prioritize your concerns better.

PM will get it done down the road. He's done it before, he'll do it again.

How can you possibly forecast that?

This team with Nola and Bregman should have won it all this year..

I fully expected to at least get to Omaha to start this season with those 2 players alone.. then we got unreal hot and I expected LSU to win it all. Just sucks we aren't playing this weekend.

No Nola sucks.. but you still have Bregman and an incredibly talented lineup.. Fraley is unreal in his own right..

so like someone pointed out.. we aren't gonna win a game in Omaha with two of the best college players around in Nola or Bregman? That would be a damn shame.

LSU's team is not suited for championship success in the regionals/CWS. Not enough pitching (depth) and not enough small ball hitters. Gorilla ball is a thing of the past. LSU baseball is living in the past. For example just look at bottom of 9th on Sunday. Middle of the lineup and everyone goes for the fences.

I'm over it. Geaux Cougars! They will be "fun" to watch in Austin, TX this weekend and should sweep the Longhorns. I'll get excited about LSU baseball again should they ever change their backwoods philosophy on how to win at the highest level. SEC championships are over-rated.

You mean the team we beat 2/3 this year and the team who has never been to Omaha in the past 40+ years?

Wow our fans.
