NSIAP.
For a team of superstars that play in a tougher more athletic era supposedly, they're sure are sensitive. Did MJ or the Bulls ever whine this much?
Heat whining here. All My Children docudrama starring Heat set for June 21.

They were absolutely lucky last year. LeBron didn't start well, played great in the 2nd and 3rd quarters and then had an encore of the 2011 Finals in that 4th.

There's always luck that plays into winning a title.

I'm for the Heat, just FYI but the media is doing what it always does, motivating the Heat. When they lose, the media goes out of their way to cut them as a team and piss them off and get them fired up.

Right now they are doing it by hyping the Spurs a lot.

Look Manu and Pop blew it or the Spurs would have won but Parker got shut down a lot by the Heat and Duncan had both great and terrible games and Manu shouldn't have been on the court IMO. Its not that I think the Spurs shouldn't be the favourites but I think they are going to have to be more consistent this time around to win it.

When you mean when he almost single-handedly brought his team back from 10 down to start the quarter? That fourth quarter?

Not really. He won game 1 for SA with his buzzer beater (against LeBron's defense, I might add), and hit what should have been the game winner over LeBron from 3 point land in game 6. He was slowed by injury more than the Heat.

Agreed. He had one good game (game 5), but was otherwise abysmal. He accounted for 8 turnovers in game 6, as well as missing a free throw that would have effectively iced the game.

Two offensive rebounds saved LeBrick's arse.

Well it wasn't. The Spurs should have blocked out.

That they should have. I heartily agree.

I wasn't saying anything other than Parker at least played well against MIA last year. Cool your jets

Lol Luck?

You wanna know something lucky?

A no name kid (Danny Green) going 25-38 (66%) from 3 point range in the first 5 games of his first NBA finals and eventually setting the record for most 3's made in a NBA finals (27)

That's luck.

They did the possession before. Rebound caromed too fast. Bad break.

Nah, SA was just using a cut MIA hadn't seen before.

Good coaching.

No one put a body on Bosh. Plain and simple.

I don't care how good of a cut he made. 66% from 3 over a 5 game span in the finals while jacking up almost 40 3's is not normal.

And I'm sure it took the heat 5 entire games to figure out this "master cut"

Yup. Rare coaching error (in retrospect) by Pop.

Although he also did the same thing (pulling Duncan in that situation) against Golden State earlier in the playoffs. Also in a game 6.

Bad break in this game 6, though.

I didn't say it was normal. I said it was good coaching.

Also, it's no secret that SA is a great three point shooting team.

It wasn't as simple as just "figuring it out." They had to decide whether to stay at home on Green/Neal or stay at home down low.

They opted to suffocate our shooters in game 6 and it nearly cost them, because Duncan went wild. SA basically made them pick their poison, and it worked well except for not being able to finish the job with a rebound/free throws.

Manu and Leonard both missed free throws under 40 seconds to play as well in Game 6.

That's choking, not luck.
