With the success of Maleficent, Disney is planning to make a live action version of Beauty and the Beast. I immediately thought of John Hamm for Gaston. Looking back at other Disney cartoons, who would you cast for each role?

Cinderella is coming out next year too.

Give me Jamie Chung for Mulan. Queen Latifah for Ursula. Ron Perlman as Beast. Kimberly Perry as Elsa. Sophie Turner as Ariel. Nathan Fillion as Flynn Rider. Chris Hemsworth as Hercules.

The chick from Community would be a good Belle. Has the cartoony eyes.

Still, I think it will be worth seeing simply for Angelina Jolie as Maleficent. That's where the appeal is. It was a role she was born to play.

And if he could pull off the accent, I'd go with Tatum as Gaston.

I could see the Rock being a good Gaston. Here is a link to the story referenced in the OP.

Damn. This is a /thread right here.

Best was Fillion as Flynn Rider.

It's a perfect match.

I'm pretty sure they are doing a Beauty and the Beast live action film already with the Movie Board's beloved Emma Watson cast as Belle.
