I always use Guillory's in Pine Prarie but want to try somewhere new. I'd like a place with lots of recipes to choose from

I use Lagneaux's meat market on Ridge road. The bacon steens sausage is great as well as the ribeye, cheddar, jalapeno.

How much you looking to get made? I do it as a little side business out of marksville tho. Main type we make is pepperjack cheese and green onion or jalepeno and cheedar. We double grind and vac seal in 1-2 lb packs. If your willing to travel alittle ways, bourgeois in thibodaux is my best suggestion.

One of the most underated meat markets in the area.
Side note: My wife said she went by there yesterday and someone had driven a vehicle through the front door. Not sure how much damage, as I wasn't going to even try to get that much detail from a woman.

Fin, B&S in Ville Platte makes great deer sausage if you like the heavy smoke style. I haven't found anything as good in the area.

Just a heads up... See if you can buy your own pork and bring it to the processor. I buy the double pork boston butts, has a good amt of fat to make a good mixture and wont make it dry as hell. Prob end up saving u a few bucks.

TBoys Slaughter House in Mamou is the absolute best, period. Wins awards in Lafayette every year.
couple of suggestions:
Deer and Chicken sausage is awesome
Deer and pork obvious choice. be prepared for spices though!
Oh, and try the boudin!
