You're selling a narrative that the safe return of a soldier is all that matters, why are we still fighting? Obviously the mission isn't as important if you are saying one soldiers life is worth returning some of the top people we are fighting to the battle field. Obviously the mission is still extremely dangerous in Afghanistan. Are all the missions our soldiers leave the wire for of greater importance than what these 5 taliban commanders represent? Having served, this is the most offensive thing I can think of. Why are you putting our men and women at risk?

Opium money. Some of our troops are legalized drug dealers.

There are about 100 guardsmen from Mississippi in Afghan teaching the farmers how to grow cotton and soybeans.
