After winning the CWS in 2009...
2010: Lost Regional
2011: Missed Postseason
2012: Lost Super Regional to Stony Brook
2013: 2 and BBQ in Omaha
2014: Lost Regional at home
2 Super Regional Appearances, 1 CWS appearance in the last 5 years
Does LSU deserve better? Yes, I'm mad. We need a new coaching staff.

2012 and 2013...those teams should have had back to back CWS's titles.

God please bless us next year without Nola, we pretty much conceded every Sunday game this year

Year after year I had an excuse for the team...
2010: Lost Regional
Rebuilding year. Committee did us no favors by sending us all the way out to UCLA after winning the SECT.
2011: Missed Postseason
Complete screwjob. Final RPI of 28
2012: Lost Super Regional to Stony Brook
LSU was caught completely off guard by a fired up SB team. Tough loss, and adjustments will be made.
2013: 2 and BBQ in Omaha
It's the bats. CPM will replace Javi and all will be great again!
2014: Lost Regional at home
I got nothing. Houston is a good team, but this was choking at its finest.
On one hand, LSU overachieved at the end of the season. Up to the AU series, none of us thought this team would get out of a regional. They would surely be sent out as a 2-seed, and would lose to a better team.
On the other hand, screw this crap.

Up 'til 8th inning last night CPM was great. But he played his hand of (pitching) cards as poorly as he could from then on.
If he can learn from his mistakes we'll have an incredible coach going forward. If not, . . .

This program is running into the ground. Javi is done, but I'm also starting to question whether Mainieri is the right guy for the LSU job.
