Who here has taken it or know anything about it? Was it pretty fun and easy? I am taking it over the summer. TIA

The first course is just putting from what I hear. Are you good at that?

Took it back in 07 in college. Roy Hill was the teacher and was amazing. Had never swing a club in my life and picked it up as a hobby after taking the class. It's not just putting, but you spend a lot of time on it. Would highly recommend it. Can play LSU course for free/cheap and met a bunch of cute girls as I was the only guy taking it during the summer.

I mean I have played a handful of times. I am really hoping for help with driving the ball. That is where I am worst.

Put up your driver and tee up w the 3 wood.
I'd rather hit straight than far and in the rough.

Took it with Roy Hill as well around 2004/2005 I believe. I've been playing since I was a kid, but it was still fun.

Is Roy Hill still teaching? He was awesome. I had never played anything more than putt putt & I really enjoyed learning the mechanics of golf in the kinesiology class. Makes me appreciate the pro golfers even more- insane amount of skill required in that sport.

I took it in 2006 because I only needed 1 more hour. I enjoyed it but I've been playing golf since I was 10 and I love the game. It's a fun class and you can learn a thing or two if you want to.

Improves your pitching, chipping and putting.

You spend 90% of your class on or around the green.

I took it 4 years ago and it was taught by a Korean TA. We just hit the driving range everyday...

Never up, never in. 99.9 % of all short putts, don't go in. I'm sneaky short. Double crossed. Throw the lines at your teacher and your in like flynn.

I took it over the summer in the late 90s. We had three "tests".

The first one was a few weeks in and we had to get a 25' putt withing like a 12" diamter circle near the hole. A few weeks later we had to chip from just off the green and get in like a 3' circle around the hole. Then the final was hitting any club on the range so the ball went more than 100 yards.

Summer school charged the same for 3-5 hours so I took golf in the morning, then swimming then speech. Free quality points bruh.
