Fellas im a highly educated professional that busts my arse 6 days a week trying to grab that brass ring... ive come to the point where im just too damn tired from everything... work, gym, social life... has anybody else in here hit a wall at this point in their career where you cant help but wonder is it really worth all the effort?

I have gone through phases where I was starting to feel burn out at work.

Many times it was because I was just working too much. Pushing myself too hard between both jobs I work.

Once I had a couple days off to relax and recharge....things always got better.

I think it's just our age. I just find myself getting tired more now in general

I feel this way every day except I have a low paying job, no social life, and no wife or kids. Its not as bad as it sounds though.

If you have a good girl life is easy, if you don't its tough.

Lost the wife about five years ago due to an illness, no kids... just an extremely demanding career and complete disgust over dating... women are 90% nuts

The brass ring is time with your wife and kids, time to enjoy life, and time to pursue your passion.

Looks like you may have been headed in the wrong direction.

You see his other post? He lost his wife 5 years ago. No kids.

OP....sounds like you let work fill the void that your wife left when she passed away.

Did you not just read that he lost his wife and has no kids? Way to push him over the edge.

Gotta find that work/life balance. Work less, play more, bitches be crazy, is my life motto.

Yes I have.

I have found the best way to combat it is a hobby or a project of some kind.
