Mouse cursor won't move...

So my 2 year old hit some buttons on the computer and now the mouse cursor won't move when I try to use the fingerpad once I'm signed in to my computer.
The fingerpad still works though because when I turn the computer off it works while I'm signing in but once I'm in Windows it freezes again. Anybody know a possible solution?
TIA

Double tap in one of the corners. Usually top left. Otherwise it's usually in the settings somewhere.

look for a yellow or red light on the key board- most have a touch button that turns the pad on or off

Hold FN key and press F9, toggle it a few times (turns on and off trackpad) and see if that works, if the corner touch command didn't work.
