After the last two weekends, I need to rest up before saltwater fishing again..

I was thinking about running some juglines in those ponds between Ponchy and Ruddock along 51. Anyone ever have any luck with the catfish around there? I used to fish blind river a lot, with good luck. I'd think there should be at least some.

we used to catch a lot of small channel cats and bream in a canal near the launch in ruddock

Thanks man. So there is hope. I've done a ton of bass fishing there, but have never tried to target catfish, nor have I ever caught one there. I just like it because it's only about 5 minutes from my house.

Key word there: bass FISHING....a more true word has never been spoken....
Ps- catfishing in that area is more common in south pass.
