Thinking about taking Mrs. FT there tomorrow night. I know that the place caught some flak when they first opened, not sure how they have fared in the last few months.

In reference to the BR location

I see the place but didn't know it had even been considered on here. Could someone give me an intro to it along with requested opinion? Atmosphere, price range relative to quality, any good specials, etc? Looks like a really small place from the outside.

It's bigger than it looks from the outside, with a long , l shaped area past the counter. Coffee is good, haven't tried the BR locations food, though. Very casual.

If it's anything like the one in the French Quarter, it's not a place to make a point of planning dinner around.

Unfortunately we are eating out almost every meal right now. Saw it had some panini's and shite. Figured it would be good for early dinner type thing.

No go?

Maybe so. The food was decent in a pinch. I think we ate there when we needed something really quick before a concert. I think of it as more of a gelato destination.

I've only been once. Good location. I had a warm turkey and avocado club. It was tasty but that, a drink, and chips was like 13$. The sandwich wasn't all that big either. Doubt I'll be back soon.

Been once and it was good. Limited menu though and we just had a quick lunch there. If you're just looking for a quick dinner and nothing fancy, it will serve that purpose.

It's a short order place. Kinda reminds me of NY Bagel Co.

I've heard a lot better comments lately about it than I had in the beginning. I guess it's safe to say they may be improving. Coffee and tea is good

It's first and foremost a gelato shop that happens to serve panini.

I was not at all a fan. The sandwiches sounded really good, but what we received was no more than what I could make at home with deli meat and sandwich bread.

Place is cute and I really wanted to like it, but it just wasn't anything more than regular home sandwiches.

Plus, they had a self serve water spout that was warmer than room temp if you order water. No ice in your cup or anything.

A good sandwich at a new spot: Breck's Bistro
Impressed me a ton.

Sometimes I think you have no memory of places we eat. We both said we doubted we'd ever go back. Do you not remember that?

The wife is the same way, her opinion is swayed by dessert. Swear that is the only reason she goes back to melting pot.

Ill check out the other place, might pair it with gelato from la divina after.
