Is there a way to put most of my music and apps on it? Its only allowing me to put a few particular apps on the card. Sorry if this has been harped over, but I'm new to android. I keep seeing something called rooting but not sure what that is.

You can certainly put all music and pics on it. Not sure about apps.

I cant figure out how. It's not allowing me. And only a few (maybe half) of my apps are able to move to it.

Why do you want apps on your SD? There is plenty enough room on the phone for apps and all your media on your SD.

Well either way, it's not allowing me to put my music in the SD card.

mount it as a drive - or use a third party app

Well I put the 32g SD card into the slot in the back of the phone. Now whrn I go to apps there's an option to move it to the card. Only problem is there's only a couple that have the option. I can't even find the music file in order to try to put it on the card. Like I said before I'm new to Android.

There are some apps (lots of google apps) that won't allow you to move them to the SD

It's in there somewhere. If you use an app like ES File Explorer you can search for a song to find the folder.

ETA: You could also connect the phone to the computer with your usb cable and use windows explorer to search your phone for the music folder.

I just use the adapter. Copy files on my computer and paste ibto the music folder. Place the card back in my phone and all my music auto populates where it should.
