would appliance repair questions go on the OT or the new Tech board?

I was helping a guy the other day and his thread got deleted and the other anchored.
Helping people on here with those issues is a service I have done for about two years now.
I figure I've posted enough trash and emojis that I should actually spend some posts helping people out.
I generally try and post in all the help threads in that subject and have even gone off site and emailed people through issues.
But I have some preventive videos and images I made for some technician forums and would like to share some here.
I planned to post those on the Tech board as my tips where in the technology areas most but some mechanical as well.
IE - Always, always use a surge protector when hooking up a newer washer or dryer (non 240v)
Or how to fix switches and what to buy to save money (universal stuff for high fail items)

Post it on the OT, but just know that Fred will likely move it to the Soccer Board.

I like Fred, years ago he called me one of the worst posters on the site, but since then he's been cool.
Never an issue.

Make sure that goes on the OT.
I moved a thread to the tech board the other day and got a chicken scolding.

I was thinking OT too, but some of the stuff I have is technical.
I kind of just wanted to post them here just in case anyone searches there would be some info. Because every month the same issues come up.
