Of the national seeds on our side of the CWS bracket:
#1 Oregon St. is getting shelled by Irvine--could be Okie St or Cal-Irvine
#4 Indiana/Vandy looks to be the toughest (looked easiest when the brackets were announced!)
#5 FSU is eliminated (prob Louisville now)
#8 LSU looking unstoppable

This really could be the year!

Let's get out of our own regional first.

Have you seen the teams who beat those higher seeds?

Legit teams.

You qualified the lsu side bracket. My bad.

Still even the SR teams scare me, whether it be UT, rice or aTm

And I guarantee at least one of these national seeds move on via the losers bracket.

Probably the 'Horns. They didn't impress me at the Big XII tourney in OKC last weekend. OSU handled them easily out of the loser's bracket.

Other side of the bracket doesn't look so great, either, outside of UVA. Florida is gone, ULoL will put a Mississippi school in Omaha (already handled both of them) and TCU is playing a double-header in the winner's bracket, and will have no pitching left even if they win.

I'm cautiously optimistic.

What is the first possible game that LSU would play at the CWS? As in date and time

Game 1
Saturday, June 15 2 p.m.

Game 2
Saturday, June 15 7 p.m.

Guessing our side of the bracket would go first, since Oxford will finish a day late, meaning they will probably get the Sat-Mon SR on that side of the bracket.

Just win. I remember the same sentiment on the board last year when UCLA knocked off Fullerton too. These teams have to be good to knock off these national seeds.

So many here were elated when Stony brook emerged from their regional in 2012. You can't overlook anyone in baseball.

We might play on the second day. Saturday is the 14th, Sunday is the 15th.
