It's starting to get balls-hot in my garage, and I want to put in a vent fan. What's the best way?

Fan to pull air outside?
Fan to pull air up into the attic? (This is preferable, as I'd rather not cut a hole in my hardiplank exterior)
Combo - one fan in and one out?

What is this? I wasn't looking to do an AC - just some ventilation so it's not a stagnant humid 110 degrees in there.

I actually have a roof vent to pull air out of the attic above the garage...I cut a couple of soffit vents into the ceiling of my garage to allow the attic vent to pull air through the garage...keeps both the garage and the attic cooler...

It's just a small 1 room A/C. They are pricey just didn't know if you were a ballet or not.

Yeah I've got roof vents too. Good to know it's effective to just vent up into the attic. I'll probably go this route...

now, be aware that there is not any real strong airflow with this method...it will keept the garage at roughly what the temp is outside, but there is no stream of air blowing on you or anything like that...

I do a similar thing. My attic access is in the garage, so during the summer I slightly prop open both the attic door and the garage door. This causes a continous flow of air into the garage and up into the attic.

Yeah that's all I really need. It gets HOT in there and it's barely even touched 90 so far this year.
