Will be a super-regional atmosphere with the talent on diamond tomorrow

Was today a positive or negative towards big game tomorrow?

No effect on tomorrow. The postseason is all about survive and advance. LSU did that today

Not sure

Last year's game 1 was pretty messy, along with game 2.

neither

Poché had a rough start but we didn't dig real deep into the relief pitchers

hitting was about as you'd expect given SLU's ace

shouldn't really change much

With Nola on the mound, I do not think today will have a negative effect. if anything, it will be a positive effect knowing that this team can scrap together a few runs late in the game.

It won't. This isn't the first close game LSU's ever played in round 1.

Survive and advance this time of year.

They got da' funk outta da' way today.

14 hits tomorrow again, this time half of those hits will be extra base hits or over the wall bye-byes.

Affect can also be used as a verb. Use it when trying to describe influencing someone or something rather than causing it.

With Nola on the mound, I like our chances against anyone. We had to pull Poche a bit earlier than I would like, but the bullpen did a great job. Hoping for at least 8 solid innings from Nola, and our bats should do the rest.

Pretty stupid question.

Please tell me you didn't spend much time pondering the thought.

Of course it was a positive, LSU won. Bats came alive going 4 of 5 with RISP compared to 1 of 11 earlier. That's a good trend even within a game.

The real thing is whether Bryant tests Houston tonight. Could be a very interesting game IMO.

I am going to head back out there and catch some of that game.
