Is Netflix worth it?

I want it mainly for all the current tv series. Will it have The Americans, Game Of Thrones, Veep, etc? Do they come out with current episodes quickly?

They don't do current episodes of shows and nearly everything you mentioned is HBO so those aren't on there at all.

No. And no.
Older seasons of The Americans and Veep are on Amazon. GoT is only on HBOGo. Netflix and Amazon usually release the most recent season a little less than a year after it airs.

No they do not have any part of a season of a show that is currently airing. They're fairly quick to add them though. I'd say within a year or two after originally airing is a fair bet. They already have all of Breaking Bad on there and that finished just last year.
And yes, it's worth it. It's only 8.71 a month and it's great for when there's nothing on TV to scroll through. Especially for TV series
