Ole Chuck Winstead needs to take a 4 hour trip to Shreveport and recruit Sam Burns from Calvary. He has helped lead them to 5 straight State titles and he is currently ranked 16th in the nation in the Junior division....the kid prolly could start at LSU day 1....

Calvary also has a few other plays that could probably step right in and play.

Of course someone like you'd would say that. I don't care about your stupid opinion, Calvary winning 5 straight state titles...in the way in which they've won, says a lot about their players.

They didn't just win by a stroke or 2 or squeak out a title. This year they won by about 60 strokes....over Parkview. They 2 previous years was about 80 strokes combined. They are annihilating teams.

My only point was to go recruit some of these kids!

You do realize Sam Burns, Barbaree, and Jeansonne are already committed to LSU?

eta: they have 3 of the top 20 golfers signed for 2015. One is from Florida, forgot his name

Barbaree has committed to LSU, but it will be a few years. He'll be a sophmore next year.

The one from Florida is Luis Gagne. He's the 12th ranked player in 2015 and is 3rd best in the state of Florida. Sam Burns is ranked 7th in the nation and Nathan Jeansonne is 17th.

Junior Rankings (BOYS)

Philip Barbaree is ranked 7th in the nation for his 2017 recruiting class. The future looks bright for the Tigers. Glad to see us ascending to the elites again in the golf world.

Yeah, it's huge that Louisiana is stepping up its instate talent. Take a look at Bama's roster. They are elite with almost all Alabama natives. i am not as familiar with golf, but someone mentioned in another thread that Alabama has an excellent pro circuit. Hell, two of our best starters are from Alabama

I knew some Chatelains from Avoyelles, all smart and some claimed special spiritual powers. One played the accordian for all to enjoy. One had a knack for business. One's dad was a retired Air Force retiree, his son did a stint with the AF too.

I could go on, but I never mean a Chatelain that I would call a fool.
