I like the show and all, but let it go.
I am sick of watching it fight for renewal to only get less episodes. This show now is literally more famous for trying to stay on television than how good it was.

I love the show, so I'll gladly take new episodes. I thought this past season was pretty good, all things considered.

I was a big fan but this show needs to die. There were a few clever episodes this last season but overall the quality lost its shine. Losing glover hurt. Let it go

A little, no doubt. But you don't even know...he could be coming back if this happens. I know he was rumored to be coming back anyway at one point. You might want to let everything get ironed out before "letting it go" (which seems to be a popular theme in this thread).

It's a good show but it's time people accept it's gone by now. Even if Hulu did bring it back it wouldn't be the same. The budget would be even lower than it already was not to mention that some of the actors have already accepted other projects.
Best case scenario, they take into account that no one liked how season 5 ended (ultimately the series finale) and do a little one-off movie on Hulu or something to give the series a good conclusion.

why does it need to die? Does it ruin your enjoyment of the older episodes if it continues on and isn't as good? Network comedies are in such poor shape right now I'll take anything that is capable of being as good as Community is when its on

Weird...you seem to want it to fail.
As a fan of the show, I'd love if it they could continue. I think if you're truly a fan of the show, you'd agree with that. If you're indifferent, then sure...NBD if it is cancelled or not. But when Community is on, it's one of the better comedies on television, even at its worst (which was still pretty solid). Why would you not want that to continue? Like BilJ said, it's not like the show continuing makes the older episodes suck or anything like that.
You never know, the show could thrive under Hulu. But why be optimistic when you can just be completely negative and assume it would suck, I guess.

I'm not Movie/TV production expert, but I can't imagine Community's budget was very large to begin with. As far as the actors' schedule, if Hulu does pick it up, I'd imagine the shooting schedule would be more flexible than shooting for a TV network.

I think sixseasonsandamovie as an inside joke in the series and now as an adopted mantra is really fun, because if they will pull it off it will be a self-fulfilling prophecy to it's own meta-status.
It's the ultimate inside joke, which is for the fans. It sounds perfect for what it needs to be.
