I know her pretty well.

Quite possibly. It's a shame many of these shows are so scripted. They probably sign contracts to do whatever they're told like every other "not reality" show. If so, poor kid because she looked dirty and cocky.

I watched a few more episodes of Hungry Investors. If that show isn't scripted, then none of them are. Such a shame Besh is involved it it. They remind me of a conglomeration of Restaurant Impossible, that show with that guy Jack who spies on the restaurants and the Mystery Diners show. Awful.

On one episode, two hamburger joints were competing. One was a dive and looked a lot like a New Orleans dive. Besh favored that one from the start. They were filming a service there which is basically people standing in line to order and waiting for the order. There was a big old woman in line who kept pulling her money from her bra and I mean she was digging down deep to get that money and put back the change. They must have showed her digging from an aerial view about 3 times. I thought she was going to accidentally pull out a boobie or it was going to fall out!

I will have to watch it tonight and chime in if it was scripted.

I think she runs "Mesón 923" a restaurant in New Orleans. I think is shut down though.

That sounds like something she would say.

I just watched her intro and she said she had been doing it (cooking) for 20 years. She was in foodservice sales for a while (10+ years) but not cooking from what I know. If I had to guess, her kitchen experience isn't that extensive.

You can see her throw a container on the floor and then scrape some scraps from her cutting board onto the floor in this clip at about 40 seconds or so.
