I just bought a used skeeter bay boat and already fried the cd/radio player. The previous owner had a car unit in the boat and I got it wet some how.

Looking for a marine radio with an aux hook up or blue tooth. Any recommendations

Fusion is the best, depends on your budget.

I just replaced a Dual head unit that was crapping out on mine with this one
LINK

Took the place of the speedometer that never worked anyway and freed up some space under dash. Have a small USB drive wired through in my dry storage along with head phone jack. Puts unit in perfect position to operate and eliminates need for a wired remote.

Have it hooked up to 4 speakers and sounds great! Also at $150 doesn't break the bank.

Your iPhone fits inside of the head unit.

Seems like the only way to use it is make a playlist and just let it go. Is that right?

yes, the entire thing fits in standard gauge cut out, its 5-6" deep which is only problem you may have depending on console layout.

I put it in myself, piece of cake, especially if you already have speakers hooked up. If you have room could always mount on your console as well if willing to drill hole.

I believe that unit must be hooked up to an amp. Not positive.

I'd have the same one install in my boat.

Built-in amp (20 watts x 4 RMS/45 peak x 4 channels)
Marine-rated watertight face
