ok - I took out all of the unhelpful stuff in the first post

------------------

As for Feux - I could see you discussing the show whether you are watching it with us or not, it shouldn't really make that much of a difference.

Also, per a quick Google search, Fringe is on Netflix.

It also seems to be on Amazon Prime.

Also on Hulu Plus I believe.

And of course, you can always just buy the DVDs.

I'll add this info to the OP.

4 hours a week is too much for me to do it regularly, but make sure to post "next week's assignment" in the OP each week and I may pop in from time to time. It'd be cool to see all the little things you miss on the first viewing.

Pretty sure next weeks would just be the next 4 episodes

Yeah, but what if I don't want to dig into the thread to see where y'all are at?

Right..the discussion is the most important part. Obviously not everyone needs to watch the episodes if they have already recently done so.

Would three be better? Nothing is etched in stone at this point, and that's what this thread is for: to iron out things like that.

Episodes are usually ~41 minutes, so you could pretty easily watch four episodes in under three hours (divvied up throughout the week at your desire).

As for discussion, how would we do that? Would it be like assignments are for a week, then discussion on those episodes starts on a certain day, or once episodes are assigned you just discuss as you watch? Suggestions? I'm good for either way (or a new way that hasn't been mentioned yet). I feel like if people could watch the allotted episodes at their own pace and contribute to the thread as they saw fit, that would be the best/easiest way.

Also, there are 100 episodes total, so three episodes a week versus four means an eight+ week difference in getting through this. Just something to keep in mind.

Don't worry about that. I will keep the OP hella updated as to where we are, what page the new episode discussions start on, etc.

it really doesn't matter to me how we do it. i think we should just go with whatever way encourages the most participation. if it's less episodes per week that's cool

Also - once we get to the "end" of a season, I'm thinking there should also be something like a "week off" so we can talk about stuff we saw during the whole season, and possibly allow people to catch up if they had lagged behind.

Good idea, for both reasons.

Would you be in for this? And I mean to actually participate instead of shitting all over everything.

Criticism is fine, but shitting all over it just because you're bored is bullshite. But if you'd shed some light on things or offer (good) input, it would obviously be welcomed.

Load of crap. There are actually only a few things I crapped on like Terra Nova and SGU.

I loved Fringe but Fear has a bee in his bonnet because I didn't like the HEAVILY FLAWED finale.

I'm in. Just tell me what to do. I have gotten bored of the shows I am currently watching and I have too much time to not have a show.
