Things that came to my mind during re watch

is how can taking a piece of someone's brain cause them to lose memory and change their personality

who has seen the observer in every episode i saw one in episode 3

massive dynamics seems like a monopoly

We are still in episodes 1-3. I am no brain surgeon but I know that specific parts of the brain do different things. To be able to extract specific memories however seems like a complete stretch.

It has been followed pretty significantly in this thread. I for one really thought the observer in episode 3 was poorly placed. If September is suppose to observe important events, why was he in the train where nothing happened?

It definitely is. It has the patents on seemingly every new piece of tech.

I believe this show can teach us such things...to some extent.

There were reports this week of erases and then reviving specific memories in rats LINK

As for how removing part of the brain can change behavior,

Massive Dynamic is pretty much what it would be like if Apple or Google bought the other one

More like if Google bought Apple and then the combined company bought up some top military contractors and biotech companies.

I'm in here bc I don't care if you spoil something.

Skeletor needs some pore minimizing makeup and some cheek collagen injections so his face doesn't cave in. I'm worried about his health. He probably dies at the end of the season from malnutrition.

He does look a bit like a skinny alien, but I can't say I've ever noticed his pores. Also, I've never really had an overall negative opinion of Broyles although on the rewatch he was quite the dickish boss early on. I think you'll come to like him better in time if you can get over his physical appearance.

And his physical appearance is something I'll always love about him because I remember the first time I saw him on Lost and how freakish he looked and it weirded me out, but was awesome for the show.

Good ole Abadon.

Brought to you by the fine folks at Massive Dynamic? Will William Bell make a speech? Keep us informed

I would have killed off Broyles in the first fricking episode if I was JJ. Miserable character.

I don't remember him on Lost.

I found this great pic of him, this was taken right before he crawled through the neighbors window and ate their babies...

And here he is playing Papa Legba on American Horror Story! How fitting...

People tell me I hate everything and I don't hate Broyles. In fact I dug up my original watch thread and I don't think I ever complained about Broyles.

Other obstructionist government people bugged me but not Broyles.

He starts out in episode one being a dick to Olivia but that is because they have a bit of a past. he didn't agree with her actions. By the end of the episode he changes his opinion of her.

Only took skinner like 140 episodes to stop acting like a dick in X-Files.
