Vacation season is upon us. I'll start, forty-three
Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont are the ones I have have yet to see.
There is a lot of cool stuff in America. My work has taken me to many strange places, and I'm glad it did. Here are some of the most memorably dumpy locales, in no particular order.
Big Spring, Texas
Pueblo, Colorado
Gary, Indiana
MARTA after 10PM
Baltimore
The Kansas Turnpike
Hialeah, Florida

As in literally been within its borders (like driving through), or "visited" as in that state was your destination?

Many when I was young on acid.

Have not visited Alaska, Hawaii, and the upper NE
My family would go on month long road trips every summer while growing up, so we visited many states.

It's your world, you tell us.

Almost all of them besides the west/Midwest and Hawaii.

I disagree. It's my list so it can't be shitty.

I've been to or thru most of them. And all I see is the old woman.

Good work. How old were you when you hit fifty and what was your last state?

So how many states have you visited, frickwad?

I have been to 35. Missing Alaska, Hawaii, Cali, Oregon, Washington, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and the 6 New England States.
Some of my more memorable sites:
The twin towers emerging from behind the Statue of Liberty as the ferry to Liberty Island moved through the harbor.
A carrier battlegroup leaving Norfolk while we cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.
Appreciable snow on the roadside in Yellowstone in mid May.
The Bighorn Mountains in the distance driving through northern Wyoming.

He considers tx to be the one and only state worth seeing.

I'll never forget my first time in NYC. Ever. Growing up in a village, schooled amongst rural whites, descending from the megasbus at Penn Station, I had never seen such concentrated activity.
My first thought, where the frick are all of these people going? My conclusion, about their business.
