Sanchez - Should have never been hired. LSU is not a job where you learn on the go. Being PM's God Son is the only reason he got the job. I think that is what most people dislike about the situation. Now when it comes to recruiting, how much does he do compare to how much does LSU sell itself is another question?

we don't hate the staff but we can certainly be critical of things, no?
it seems that some of us hate the staff because others have cpm's nuts so far down their throats that it has their new brain.

God, this makes my brain hurt. Amazing to me that there are idiots that actually use this as a legit gripe.
Show me how our hitting over the last 5-6 years indicates that Javi is "learning on the job". And for that matter show me how our catchers' performance and our recruiting indicates that Javi is in over his head.
Are there better hitting coaches? Sure, probably. Give me an example of someone who is without question a better combination of recruiter/hitting coach/position coach and I'll entertain the idea. But our results don't lie and Javi has been a huge part of it. So save the nepotism bullshite for someone else.

This isn't the 90's. Other people try in baseball. You can't just throw some random shmuck out there with an LSU baseball windbreaker on and recruit like we currently do. Get a fricking clue.

Our fans, especially for baseball, are EXTREMELY entitled. Many of them think they know better than our coaches for some strange reason.
Me personally, I may disagree with the coaches on occasion but I always give guys like Paul Mainieri the benefit of the doubt. He knows more about baseball than anyone on this board obviously.

It generally starts out as an innocent criticism. Then another poster will jump in and questions one's loyalty. At that point it becomes a debate in which both sides argue their points.
To the untrained eye, that can seem as if someone now "hates" the staff. But to those more seasoned posters, it's simply a discussion on an individual topic.
