BIL walked up to lady he knew and rubbed her stomach asking when the baby was due. She told him she wasn't pregnant. He awkwardly laughed and walked away.

Maybe she feels the same way and had the pregnancy terminated because she has the same feelings for you. Call her. Ask her directly RIGHT NOW if this is the case; if not you've already (by the original bad question) fatally flawed any possibility of having her. Double Down, man!

Friend of mine happened to know the photographer at my wedding. She was an ex of one of his college friends. Last time he saw her, she was pregnant. So he asked how the kid was. She apparently terminated the pregnancy. Talk about awkward taking the groomsman photos after that.

Awful advice. Simply explain to her that it was her fault for not letting it be known that she lost the baby. Remember, you did nothing wrong here, this is on her (it's important not to beat yourself up about things like this). THEN offer her sex.
