I'd fix the thread title spelling out "TD"

quote:

Pizzolatto revealed that in the new season’s current form, “we’re working with three leads. It takes place in California — not Los Angeles, but some of the much lesser known venues of California — and we’re going to try to capture a certain psychosphere ambiance of the place, much like we did in season one.”

Casting to take place over the next few months

Pizzolatto previously told HitFix that “True Detective” season two would be about “hard women, bad men and the secret occult history of the United States transportation system.”

So the Brad Pitt-Jessica Chastain news was false?

Done.

I think it'd be awesome if they brought some of the small towns in the valley, the Inland empire or Sultan sea area into play. All kinds of potential.

Chastain seemed premature. Maybe still true. If imagine we'll hear something soon.

So a retread of season 1 set in Cali with a chick? Instead of the public works/law system, it's the DOTD?

Yea I was thinking it sounded a lot like season 1, not that that is a bad thing I just figured it would be completely different than the first.

He should just make it a "loose" sequel to this movie.

Something in north California would be legit. That area doesn't get enough attention.

Or Killing Floor, by Lee Child.

Would like to see a mystery story where people are disappearing in a vineyard somewhere... or bodies washing up on the shores of Monterrey
