For the game. Anybody going? Should I get there early?

Is that place smaller than Finn's? I looked at a pic online and it looked small.

I'd say they're probably about the same size. Finn's might be a little bigger.

About the same size. Would say Finns is slightly bigger if pressed.

Has anyone been to a game at Rendezvous yet?
How was the turnout?

Went to the first game there. It was alright. They ran through their chants the entire game, which got old. And the regulars just made fun of us the entire time. Would say about 30 people for that match. Haven't been back since.

I've never been to Finn's but I heard it was crowded for the 2010 World Cup. Are they for sure gonna have a set up outside too in order to accommodate for a big crowd?

The only time I've watched a game outside of Finn's was the US-Mexico game, which I watched at that Irish bar (?) on Mag that's wide open, has a ton of TVs, and decent bar food (french fries with gravy was fantastic). Now if the NOLA outlaws went there I would totally show up.

It was ok. Crowd wasnt nearly as soccer literate as the Finn's crowd. Ill probably go back to get a scarf, but Finns is a much better atmosphere. No to mention better drinks, food, and close to my house.
Its also a Tuesday night at 9pm so I'll be watching from my house.

I am going to Rendezvous tonight to check it out. I do go there on occasion (not during a soccer game) because I live close to the bar. Interesting spot for AO to pick.
I love AO and the chants and everything, but sometimes I just want to watch the fricking game. I get so anxious I have to go to the bar early. I will report back tomorrow on how it went. USA must win 6-0 at least if we want to get out of this group of death.
I plan on going to Bruno's uptown for the Germany game. My group of friends is currently trying to pick a bar to take over for the Portugal game. Any ideas?
Not searching for a place to watch the Ghana game bc I will be in Natal at the Arena das Dunas.

I may catch the game there tonight.
I've gone to RDV for matches in the past, and it's ok. I would assume if AO's are hosting, the bar will be forced to have the sound on and not music (which isn't always the case).
I've never been to an AO event, I assume it gets pretty intense?

. We went to an AO bar before the game and it got pretty wild. More than it did at the AO bar I went to in Chicago before the 2013 Gold Cup final. I am interested to see how many people show up tonight.

I could not make it last night. I got called in to freakin work. Anyone know how many people went? I realize we are played an 85th ranked team so I do not expect a big number
