Regardless of what happens the guy is probably the best coach in college baseball. I watch almost every game and never thought this team would pull off winning the sec tourney. LSU is lucky to have him. Let's win the whole fricking thing!

He continues to win at a high level despite keeping Javi as hitting coach.

I get it, you are on a feel good trip from the SEC Championship, but you're going a little overboard here. But you are right one thing, LSU is lucky to have him.

He's top 5. Questionable to be first, but he's in the highest tier probably.

I am on a feel good trip no doubt but I can't think of anyone I would trade him for. Look at his record. Plus I remember the smoke days.

I actually think he may be the best coach in the country as well.

He seems like a total a-hole which I identify with so I may be biased.

He brought in Dunn, best assistant baseball hire ever. Outside of Nola, this is not a dominant staff. Imagine what he could do with Vandy's arms.

PM is a genius. He was sandbagging us all season. This is the real Tiger team he was keeping under wraps.

I had serious doubts early-- but Kudos to PM--- he's proven
All of the negatigers wrong. Dunn pitching staff only gave up
4 runs & 16 hits in the SEC tournament--- that could be the lowest totals on record for this Tournament. All I can say is
WOW!!!!!!

People have very short and selective memories. 3 or 4 weeks ago somebody started a thread asking who the best coach at LSU was, and anybody who responded CPM(like I did) got laughed out of the thread...now that LSU is hot he is the cat's meow again. I will say it again, CPM is the best coach at LSU.

College baseball is not a sprint, but a long distance run. We can all disagree with L/Us or pitching decisions or base running or hitting, but anyone pissing on the PM success at LSU or his coaching ability is in need of college baseball mental health treatment. imo
