Pompeii is the worst movie I've seen in 20 years. History Channel did better

Acting was atrocious. Special effects were dismal. Story....well, what story?

I saw it in theaters solely for my husband Kit Harington aka Jon Snow...but the movie was really shitty...the action was meh and the 'love story' was stupid.

Watched it with the wife the other day.
At the end she was saying what a good movie it was.
I didn't find it good, or bad. Just a way to pass time. Surprised she liked it so much though.
...Then again she had no idea about the history of Pompeii

It was entertaining, but then I like most movies. But in no way the worse movie in 20 years, there are some pretty bad ones out there.

Just watched it last night, I think it was better than The Legend of Hercules, but that is not saying much.

I saw a commercial advertising it on DVD touting how epic the movie is. I cracked up.
It would have been better served as a lifetime movie.

The quality (in terms of the camera and everything else) was really bad for a movie.

Okay first Kiefer Sutherland was a poor choice for this movie. This movie was so bad that literally I got hung up on the fact he called someone a bitch during it. Was waiting at that point for her to say "totes" or literally say, "L-O-L" when she thought something was funny. The love story was bad this movie was a poor mans version of Gladiator meets Dante's Peak.
