I'd bet on something centered around a single character whose actor is dead, like Columbo or Matlock.

Yeah that's probably technically correct. I guess by "main" I meant regularly recurring in almost every episode.

For as old as the Mary Tyler Moore show is, it's amazing that nearly EVERYONE from that show is still alive except for Ted.
