I'm so proud of this team and their clutch performance in the SEC tourney. These three pitchers came up huge today for LSU with defensive support and some support from Person.

Cartright battled given the tight zone. Fury and McCune both were dealing heat up to 92mph. Great SEC performances.

The pitchers have been great these last three games. They were lights out today.

They all stepped up huge.

I was surprised seeing the radar hit 93 on one pitch by McCune.

The pitching was just outstanding all across the board and the defense behind them.

He was throwing gas. I was so pumped for him in the eighth when he got the k for third out.

I think their adrenaline added a couple mphs. That was heat! Broussard likely would've hit 96.

With Bouman coming around as well as Cartwright we are going to have plenty of starting pitching options for next season even with Nola gone.

We get Newman and Reynolds back as well as some very high profile freshman arms.

Fact: Fury's balls hang lower than anyone else's on the team.

Houma representing, btw was Brousard out, seemed weird having your closer not warmed up in a 2 run championship game!!

Mad props to these other guys who pitched their asses off

Never did I think we would shut out Florida today.

All did amazing but it was Cartright who looked like a Sunday starter out there.

Cune was really dealing. I was hoping CPM kept him in. Cune had the IT factor tonight.
