@rivalsmike: Top 9 for 5 star DB Tarvarus McFadden is #FSU, #LSU, #UGA, #Buckeyes, #Bama, #Auburn, #UCF, #Clemson, #Trojans. Appears to be in order.
Really want to have him and Tolliver and call it a day.

Any idea who the biggest competition is? As well as how we are sitting with him?

FSU. I feel we have a good shot once get gets on campus.

Tolliver and McFadden may be on the same 7V7 team

We need toliver to work on him as well. FSU currently leads

I thought at one point he was considered a LSU lean...Still believe once he's on campus and KT3 Ddoes work on him...He will be a LSU Tiger when it's all said and done.

Not in order. Clemson is top 2.

Considering LSU's success with DB's it shouldn't be difficult to fill the spot.

The biggest competition is ego, he wants to start as soon as he steps on campus. They have to sell him on the idea of coming in and competing for playing time, the DBU tradition, and the possibility of starting his 2nd year with guys like Kevin Toliver, Ed Paris, and Jamal Adams.

I'm fine with getting a guy who puts a priority on starting as a true freshmen. Usualy, the reality of it is that he quickly figures out that he is a cub among Tigers and accepts the fact that special teams will be his thing until he gets his turn. It will make him a much better CB and he will be a part of another DB stacked LSU defense with a DC who loves putting extra corners on the field in nickel and dime sets when he has a surplus of talent in the secondary. Remember that the Honey Badger went viral and wasn't even a starter on paper. He was the nickel back and Chavis pretty much played that formation nearly all game because of the talent.
Now if he drops LSU out of contention because of the depth at DB then he does not have what it takes to be a Tiger anyway.

I want a guy with his kind of confidence. The great ones all have that mentality

Jalen Collins is listed as a first rounder for next year
before the 2013 season, Anthony Johnson was listed as a 1st rounder in a lot of mock drafts…
i assure you, Collins will NOT be a 1st rounder… that would beyond Al Davis levels of crazy
