My fleeting point, Hub...was that being elected don't mean squat, in relation to and individual's character. Obama got elected on a lie ("you can keep your doctor"). Maybe West tells the truth; and that hurts him.

You mean take a potential candidate out of the media spotlite and off of programs that support his views, and he loses audience? Did you research this all on your own?
Obama was a "token" black liberal, I think he did just fine.
If this guy would run and the Republicans all get behind him, he would win, IMO....he stands for everything conservatives like, and he would grab the black vote against someone who is white....certain (most) blacks will vote for him because of his color and what that means, it's obvious from previous elections, they aren't totally driven on the issues, especially now since very very little has improved/worked that was promised.

That article by Alan West is filled with already-known facts, unproven allegations and utter bullshite.
His closing statement - "Am I afraid because of what I now know? Heck no. I’m honored to have been entrusted" - is laughable at best. (Hope the guy was whispering to him lest those around them are now "afraid" as well....)
It's guys like West, Hannity and Bolling that do more to damage the Benghazi investigation than anything the left can do.

Doherty was in Tripoli, not Benghazi, during the time period West was referencing in his statement.
And those "repeated orders to stand down", which have been disputed under testimony, must have been pretty short-lived, since video shows the 7-man team left the Annex at 10:03 PM, just 21 minutes after the first attacker entered the compound.
