Anyone else had a similar problem with UPS?

Got my tracking info earlier this afternoon and saw that my package was "delivered" at around 5. Got home, no sight of it. Says "Left at Back Door" on tracking page. Checked with a few neighbors and no one has it or has seen it.
Anyone else been in a similar dilemma? What was the outcome?

Have it happen all the time and they deliver it the next day. I think the truck drivers do it to make themselves look good to the bosses when they can't make all their drops in one day

That's fricked up, but I hope that's the case. I did pay for two day shipping though which would have put it being delivered today. I guess they might have done it to cover their arse.

only had that problem with USPS... currently dealing with their shite now, just opened a new account with whitney bank.... 30 days, still no card, they have sent 3, i get the pin numbers, no card

Same happened to me I never saw the package.
Called ups to report and then called where I got package from so they could file a claim.
I got a replacement item about 2 months later.
Now I have everything delivered signed authorization required.

frick that, you paid for 2nd day! It's a lot more expensive than 3 day or ground.

I have a problem with the dumb asses throwing boxes of medical implants over my fence, when it's not my regular guy that has our gate code. Who cares if it might rain and ruin $15k+ worth of implants?

I'm going to call bullshite on that! Maybe by fed ex but that Shite doesn't happen at UPS. If it says delivered then it was delivered. It may have been stolen, but it's not delivered the next day. Every package in those trucks are scanned every evening when they get in. If one says delivered and it's on that truck that driver gets a termination letter. Fact! If it says delivered, call the center and they can GPS exactly what house it was delivered to. Telematics is always the eye in the sky.
