SELU in driver's seat on their side of bracket. NW St has to beat them twice to advance to finals. McNeese must beat Central Arkansas twice to advance. Hoping the Lions win it all

I was looking at the standings the other day, it's been a while since the Lousiana teams were all in the top half of the Southland standings. Used to be Texas dominated. I know a couple of the coaches in the league so I pull for them to do well.

Sam Houston is ranked #23 and were expected to win the conference tournament. SELU beat them 1-0 yesterday and NW St beat them earlier today.

I'm happy for Burroughs. He's turning the program back around to what it was before it started trailing off in later part of Gaspard's tenure. He's going to be another in a long line of successful HCs that launched their careers at Northwestern.
