“I have about 90 minutes worth of material with Django,” Tarantino said. “It hasn’t been seen. My idea, frankly, is to cut together a four-hour version of Django Unchained.

“But I wouldn’t show it like a four hour movie. I would cut it up into hour chapters. Like a four-part mini-series. And show it on cable television. Show it like an hour at a time, each chapter.”
“We’d use all the material I have and it wouldn’t be an endurance test. It would be a mini-series. And people love those,” Tarantino said.

It would have to be on HBO or Showtime, not regular cable.

I wasn't impressed with Django. I was all meh on it.

There were about 30-45 minutes that should have been cut out of the original film, so I can't even imagine how worthless this other 90 minutes of leftover footage is.

That movie sucked. Don't need to see more of it.

Someone please steal this.

And to add, something like this takes away an opportunity for a new show and creator like Gilligan, Weiner, or Pizzalatto to surface. We've already seen this movie. Sometimes Tarantino's self-indulgence is nauseating.

I started watching this the other weekend. I got about 20 to 30 minutes in and turned it off. I don't get the hype. I thought it was very meh and uninteresting.

Gilligan and Nick already have new seasons/shows being developed so you're wrong.

your opinion is irrelevant.

I said a NEW show and creator. I was using those three as examples. So you're wrong.
