Forgiveness. Ignorance must be plausible.

Depends on the circumstances.

You want to PIIHB: permission.

You want to PII her best friend's butt: forgiveness (mostly cause she'll cock block you if you ask for permission)

Always forgiveness. That's how I was raised up and and I've always had success with getting forgiveness. No one will ever give you permission. Ever from my experience. Too many stuck up people IMO

It's better to be a grown arse man and do what you want.

Asking for forgiveness before permission used to be mantra. Now with my wife I ask permission. Everyone is happier that way. Everyone else can go frick themselves, I do what I want.

Neither, actually.

Permission will cause unrest up front, and ultimatums you don't want to deal with.

Forgiveness (if the other party is a woman) will be a complete charade, and you will pay for it.

If it's at work, depending on the circumstance you may never get that forgiveness,

Haven't you ever heard the old saying, ignorance of the law is no excuse for breaking the law?

Who said anything about the law?

Norms, mores, we talkin bout them, not laws.

Forgiveness.

Asking permission means you get told "NO"...

then you have to be disobedient lol

Depends on how strained the assumed permission is and how much forgiveness is needed.

I've always liked this saying, but you can get burned for pushing it.
