I think he means what other schools have offered Cain as a QB, and as far as I know, we're the only major school that have. Most everyone else is offering WR or as an ATH

His brother goes to Florida but doesn't play any sports, no one in his family attends FSU, I believe only his grandmother lives in Tallahassee. He's 50-50 on what he wants play in college. But he knows WR is the position that is gonna get him to the NFL. To be honest I think LSU offered him as a QB to try to bump up immediately in his recruitment because he's making a decision in August. We'll see.

I think Cameron likes him as a QB and it's that as well. You have to try something different for a guy that appears to be staying in-state

... Except most believe Clemson leads. LSU offered at QB to get in the game late. Don't blame them, but he won't play QB at the college level, no way.

Apologies; I misread the article

Here's the last quote

"Cain has an older brother attending Florida, and a brother who attended Florida State. Clemson is considered the favorite headed into the summer, with Florida and Georgia behind the Tigers.

Clemson already has a four star QB committed so I am guessing they're recruiting him at Wide out which with their recent draft success will probably be a huge draw (Hopkins, Watkins and Bryant)

ESPN rankings are terrible, therefore, not needed.

That's what I meant. Thanks.

Antwaan Randle El was a 5'10" starting QB for Cameron when he coached at Indiana. I bet Cameron's interest in playing Cain at QB is sincere.

Interesting move.

We seem to have a QB for the next 3 or 4 years at least, so he could have time to develop, and if he doesn't he seems to be a solid athlete.

If he can catch that would be good.

Still early. Most of the top kids all "list" LSU, but I like to wait until post summer to see what they are really thinking. What they do (unofficial trip to LSU), tells a large part of the story.

The main guys are McFadden and Gibson this early...

I know LSU is in it legitimately for McFadden. Problem is, he thinks he needs to start Day 1. UF is out of it because of this. LSU situation very similar to UF, 2 very good young CB's.

Gibson has LSU in top 4, but still hasn't visited tOSU, and that's one I am really keeping an eye on for Torrance. Honestly, I wouldn't want Gibson if I were an LSU fan, if it meant him playing QB.
