Kid dies on senior trip

was just told that a kid from Opelousas got killed on his senior trip in panama city florida. kid was walking down the sidewalk back to his hotel when he was hit by an suv driven by some lady on Xanax.
this sucks for the parents. child graduated last week and now is coming home in a bag.
I would put a link but i'm not too sure if it's appropriate for potential family members that read this site.

that is horrible
such an unnecessary tragedy
congrats on the vehicular homicide conviction. should be treated like any other 2nd degree murder, IMHO.

The victim was with two of his friends at the time. He decided not to go with them to the next destination, he turned around to go back to his room and he was struck on the way back. Yes, the rest it terribly unfortunate to say the least ! To think 2 other kids may have ended up with the same fate is scary. Those boys will live w/ this the rest of their lives. Sad all the way around.

Was she drinking on them. I know that intensifies the drug. I was prescribed before and was warned not to drink. By themselves just relaxed and calmed. Prayers to the family involved.
