I have read a few. Some are interesting/weird. I read one from a guy who found some cd or tapes or something of his grandpa, that was pretty interesting, but I never checked back for his updates.

Thought the whole point of that subreddit was that it isn't factual...Isn't that even on the sidebar? That being said, yes, there are some damn talented writers on there orchestrating some believable yet unbelievable stories, and doing a great job doing so. Good stuff.

Recently read one that was prefaced as true and he/she was asked on another subreddit to share her story

And it might actually be, but I can't take any of the stuff posted seriously when it's true intention is to be a platform for good (albeit creepy) stories. I'm sure there are some stories based in real life events, but it can get hard to tell.
