Came home to find 8 dead wasps laying around in the guest bathroom

Wtf do you do in this situation. Im paranoid in my own home now. I want to know what attracted them, but even more so I want to know what killed them.

They have probably built a nest under the canopy of the exhaust vent that exits on the roof
Look up in the air intake area in the bathroom and you'll probably see more dead ones.
It got hot today and heat killed them. Be careful dropping the cover over the lightbulb there may be more live ones.
Yes, I had this happen to me. Dropped the lense cover and they stated squeezing out of the seams of fixture. I saw them in there, but thougt they were all dead.
