Grapefruit Spoons are Handy Dandy Utensils

This has come up in some other threads from time to time, but I believe the grapefruit spoon is worthy of a thread. I have a few cheap stainless steel spoons I bought for a few bucks at a kitchen shop. I've never used them on a grapefruit.
In the past week, I've used one to clean out the veins and seeds in fresh and roasted jalapeno peppers and scrape the seeds from a cucumber. I use them to scrape the meat from eggplants, clean the veins from all kinds of other peppers, getting the seeds and goop from cantaloupes and I recently used it to clean the seeds from some tomatoes. I've also used to scrape the thin skin off a piece of ginger root.
Do you have one and, if so, how do you use it? If not, buy one.

Yeah, CAD needs one for sure.
If you stuff mirlitons, squash or zucchini, they will be useful as well.
ETA: You could clean out the bready part of a bagal and stuff it with more cream cheese.

Tbh, I cut the meaty part free of the grapefruit. So any old spoon works for those.
Did people not always do that?

We always had a crooked grapefruit knife. Those are handy, too.
