Company softball league. Fun or not fun?

Anyone ever played in a rec/work/church softball league? My office just set up a team today. I feel like it should be hilarious.

They're awesome. I was pissed when my company got rid of ours last year. Not enough participation.

I play in one. Its basically a beer league. I really enjoy it.
At the same time, my team is pretty good. It kinda sucks playing with bad girl players. Losing is never fun even with beer.

Co-Ed? Get good girls, then it's fun.
Beer league? Then yes it's fun.
Mostly non-douchers that want to have fun and be a little competitive? Then yes, it's fun.
Other than that, no.
