Louisiana Attorney General and contingency contracts.

What is the OT's thoughts on this practice? It seems like massive amounts of taxpayer money is being funneled to private attorneys when in house counsel should be able to handle these suits. One large 30-45% fee could fund an entire department to the AG's office for a decade or two.

AG hires private attorneys on contingency.
