This is awesome! Thanks for the heads up, I will definitely be attending. Mobile does not get too many good acts that come through often.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's the last time his band has been up here. I was at that show.

That's the last one I went to up here. Don't think there has been any others.

Anders killed it but he could've picked a hella better dead song to drop.

And it isn't even close

I'm ready to leave this behind.
I already feel so much better.
Tomorrow and yesterday's perfectly fine.
I'm ready to live my forever.

I just relistened to 12/6, damn that was a good show. Anders should always play with an organ, john gros sounds awesome throughout.

Yeah, I think my favorite lineup is
Anders/Luther/Dufrene/Gros/Bolivar

Eta: and I say that as a huge Benevento fan

Yep, I agree. I like GABE- George, Anders, Billy and Eric. But there is just something about Anders, Luther and Carl together. They just rock the frick out. And Papa just adds to it. I would take those 5 over anything else if I had my choice. Maybe throw Stanton in on drums to make it even better.

Not only do they rock out but they build a beautiful, layered soundscape. The sound kind of reminds me of prime Allman Bros era with Duane and Dickey exchanging leads.

It is crazy that they had only played a few shows before the legendary 12.10.11 Tips gig.

Their show at T Bois this year was amazing as well.

I'm already looking forward to the Holiday shows at Tips.
