It's better than Bourbon Street. Not sure where you would get that it is the safest street

I'd go with a private street Uptown.

The street Drew Brees lives on off St. Charles.
Otherwise I'd say Magazine is the safest. From block 1000-6000 you should feel safe walking at night.

no he lives on Audubon Blvd I think, not that safe at all. Audubon Place is another story. doubt there's been any crime there if you don't count the rich people snorting and the workers taking a few pieces of silver for decades.
No part of Magazine is close to the safest street in NOLA.

Had a friend almost get abducted on a busy Friday night about 1 month ago on Frenchman. So, no. I wouldn't say it was that safe...

I also heard Canal St is popping recently too. Everyone be careful.

I walked down Frenchman St. during the daytime with my girlfriend, and it was the unsafest I've ever felt anywhere in the city.

Why do you like to name drop NOLA streets?
Let's hear about Birmingham.

Walked down Chartres toward esplanade this past Saturday at 1 am. Did not feel safe at all. Pretty sure some hooligans behind us tried to get in the door if my friends place after we walked in and locked it.

The only Lilly white commercial area some of you will ever feel safe in New Orleans is Fulton Street. Really the whole warehouse district is safe, but Fulton is a perfect cutesy area for those that are scared of the boogeyman

This is why I just post piss & bums in these stupid threads. People with no clue what they are talking about. What kind of retard compares a neighborhood to a street that crosses multiple neighborhoods. OP go to the corner of Frenchman & Florida and start walking towards the river. Let me how safe you feel.

Safest street in New Orleans?
Audubon Place - multibagillion dollar homes surrounded by Audubon Park, two universities, and a law school. It's patrolled by NOPD, OPSD, LUPD, and TUPD
