Feldman struggling early. He doesn't look completely healthy.
3-0 Angels in the bottom of the 2nd.

Hope we can come back and win this. We have played good ball the past few series and hope we can keep it up.

No problem. I had already given up and am following the game online while I watch the new Deadliest Catch.

I don't even know WTF Bo is doing. LJ Hoes is sick apparently. Instead of putting Alex Presley (who has hit .280 vs LHP in his career) Bo puts a damn 1B in a big outfield.

The Angels have so little respect for Guzman in left that a runner tagged from first to 2nd on flyball to left.

This game has been pretty comical.

Anybody see Springer's dive halfway between 1st & 2nd to avoid being hit by a chopped grounder in the 1st?

Dude just stopped and dropped lol

meanwhile we're being shutdown again by a garbage pitcher. A 5.36 ERA for him against teams not named the Astros this year.

Sad thing is I'm not sure he knows either. He's a likable enough guy but I don't see him being back next year at this point. He seems to be in over his head.

Dude loves the handedness matchups so much that nothing is really surprising.

I hate to say this, but this is why we need a guy like Peacock in a long relief role rather than as a 4th starter.

3rd pitcher in the inning because we've got shite for long relief

Jerome Williams is the LRP. He's a starter in the bullpen. Unfortunately Bo has no idea how to use the bullpen. He usually brings in Williams late in tight games. Tonight he brings in Darin Downs in the 5th?

Seems like Clemens could have been that guy. Why did they send him back down ?

Good question.

The same could be said for Obie and Chapman. I thought we sent both those guys down too soon.

Yes Obie was 0-6 but he had some good starts.

And chapman is a spot guy. But Bo never took the time to figure that out

We sent Clemens down because we're using one of his option years.

We got caught in that spot where McHugh impressed enough to stay up and Feldman was coming off the DL...then Albers went down and we signed Sipp

OH yeah, that's right. And he got run quickly the first time he came in.

Am I right in thinking that the only 2 mainstays in the bullpen this season are Qualls and Jerome?

Everybody else has either been recently signed, DFA'd or put on the DL or sent down

Oh well, I think I hear a book calling my name in the bedroom. Gonna finish this glass of pinot noir and leave it with you diehards.
(I know, deserting my own thread, whatever)

Until next time :

I just wish our bullpen didn't have the feel of a major league tryout.

Crain
Qualls
Albers

Williams
Peacock

Sipp
Chapman
Alex White

Is what I'd be happy with. That way we can get Folty in to the rotation
